Simple rates, no surprises.

Private math tutoring starts at $35 per 60-minute session. Sessions can be held at the tutor's location, at the Cambridge Public Library, online, or in your home.

In-home tutoring is available after the initial assessment for $55 per 60-minute session, within the approved travel area.

In-home tutoring is limited to locations within 10 miles of the Cambridge-Isanti area.

Session length. Each individual tutoring session is 60 minutes. Sessions are spaced 15 minutes apart, so if you book two back-to-back, plan for 2 hours 15 minutes end to end (2 hours of tutoring).
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. A session is not reserved until payment is received. All sales are final — sessions and packages are non-refundable. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you'll receive a session credit toward a future booking.

Prepaid Packages

Every package session is 60 minutes. Purchase once, then book normally. Matching package sessions appear in My Sessions and are used automatically before another payment is requested.

Group Sessions

Group sessions run 2 hours minimum, with up to 4 students per session. Group sessions are not eligible for prepaid packages.

Package Policies

  • All tutoring sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking. A session is not reserved until payment is received.
  • All sales are final. Sessions and prepaid packages are non-refundable.
  • Considering a package? Book a single session first to make sure it's a good fit -- packages cannot be refunded once purchased.
  • Cancel more than 24 hours before your session and you receive one session credit, good toward any future booking at the same location tier.
  • Cancel within 24 hours of your session, or miss it, and the session is forfeited.
  • Session credits and prepaid packages expire six months after they are issued or purchased.
  • Credits -- not cash refunds -- are the remedy for any cancelled session.
  • Unused sessions may be transferred to another child in the same immediate family.
  • The initial assessment takes place at the tutor's location or at the Cambridge Public Library, before in-home tutoring is offered.
  • In-home tutoring is limited to locations within 10 miles of the Cambridge-Isanti area.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for providing a safe and appropriate tutoring environment for in-home sessions.
  • Individual sessions are 60 minutes; group sessions have a 2-hour minimum.
